The event will be held at 8:30 AM on Sat, January 27, 2024.

Registration Cutoff

Registration cutoff is at 5:00 PM on Thu, January 25, 2024. After the cutoff you may register on the wait list (you will not be charged at this time).

Notes from the Event Director

Tournament Flyer

All refunds subject to $2 fee per player. No refunds after January 18, 2024.

Open to all rankings of players from 1st grade through 12th grade.

Trophies will be awarded. Registration is limited to the first 150 players to register.

Each participant will play five 45 minute rounds using the Swiss Sys pairing system (S-C-O).

(Clocks may be required by the judges to complete games in a timely manner.)

Tournament Schedule:
Check-in: 8:30-9:00 am
Welcome and Instructions: 9:00am
1st Round: 9:15am
2nd Round: 10:15 am or earlier
3rd Round: 11:15 am or earlier
4th Round: 12:30 pm or earlier.
5th Round: 1:30 pm or earlier.
Trophy Presentations about 2:30 pm

This is A Whole Family Event!
FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE. Bring extra chess sets, cards & board games.

Students must be supervised at all times by their parents or an adult between rounds.
