In-person Quad Tournaments pair 4 players of similar chess skill together for 3 exciting, rated chess games! These NWSRS-rated tournaments are a great way to practice skills and contribute to an official chess rating. Quad Winner Trophy awarded to the winner of each Quad!

3 Rounds, G/25+5 - Round Robin Pairing (in groups of 4). Located at Renton Chess4Life at 4820 NE 4th St a107, Renton WA 98059 (Best in Class Education shared location). Registration closes at 3 PM on Friday! Cancellations must be requested before 12:00 PM on Friday to receive a refund or transfer.

Quads are a great option for new tournament players, as all unrated players will be paired with other beginners. Experienced tournament players will be paired with those of a similar NWSRS rating. Parents are welcome to drop off players -- A phone is available in center for players to call parents once their games have finished. All players must be picked up by 4:00 PM.

Schedule:
3 rounds, round-robin pairings for each Quad (group of 4 players) provided before each round. Players able to play practice games or join parents in lobby in between Rounds. Parents can drop off and pick up players upon tournament completion.

Round 1: 1:00 PM
Round 2: ASAP or by 2:00 PM
Round 3: ASAP or by 3:00 PM
Estimated End: 4:00 PM

Players not present at their boards at 1:00 PM will be forfeited from their Round 1 (and possibly subsequent games). As soon as all players from a Quad section have finished their previous Round, the Tournament Director will pair and begin the next Round.
