Can I register more than one player at once?
Yes you can. Simply add all the players to your cart, then click continue registration. You only need to enter your contact information once this way.

How do I make changes to an order after placing it?
To edit an existing order, please use the Order Correction Link at the bottom of your confirmation email.

Do I need a PayPal account to use your site?
No, we have payment options for PayPal, Venmo, or you can pay with any major credit card. You are not required to have or create a PayPal account in order to sign up on chessreg.com.

Do you process or store credit card information on your site?
No, all payment is handled by PayPal. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

Can I get a refund if I decide to withdraw from the event?
Refunds are solely at the discretion of the event staff, and all refunds may be subject to a processing fee which is determined by the event organizers. To request a refund for an event, please email ben@chessreg.com and include the name of the event and the name(s) of the participant(s). Please see our Terms of Service for more details.

I'm attempting to register multiple players, but one of them is in a section that is wait listed. Can I still register my other players?
Yes, when you click continue after you have added all your players to the cart, the system will automatically separate any players that are in wait listed sections out. You will only be charged for the players in open sections. You will receive a separate email later if a spot is made available in the wait listed section.

What does Max Rating mean?
Sections with a maximum rating offer a less difficult competition level than open sections. If this is your first event it is recommended that you select a section with a maximum rating if available.

Can you handle the registration for our chess event?
Absolutely! We make registration easy for you, whether its for a Tournament, Chess Club or anything else. Please use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and leave your contact information and some information about your event and someone will be in touch with you shortly. We now offer USCF ratings support in addition to NWSRS ratings.

Can I see a list of who else has signed up for an event?
Yes, just click on the section you wish to view and you will be taken to a list of players who have signed up.

Do I need to register a player for an event in order to purchase one of the additional products or side events being sold for that event?
No, if you just need to order one of the additional products or side events, please click on the Register button, then DO NOT add any players to your cart, simply select the number of additional items/side event entries you with to purchase and hit continue registration.
