Event Info

Date: the event will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Registration Cutoff: 5:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026. After the cutoff you may register on the wait list (you will not be charged at this time).
Registration Fee: $35.00
Player Refund Cutoff: 5:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026. Refunds are subject to an $5.00 fee per player.

Notes from the Event Director

All participants must register in advance. There will be no on-site entries.

Formats:
5 Round G/30 Swiss in 5 sections: K, 1-3 U700, 1-3 Open, 4-5 U700, 4-5 Open
Qualifier for WA State Elementary Tournament.
All sections will be NWSRS Rated, Open Sections will additionally be USCF dual-rated.

Schedule:
Check-in is not required. Organizers will be available to answer questions starting at 8:00. Games begin at 9:00am, players not seated by 9am may forfeit round 1.

Tentative Schedule (all round start times approximate, each round will start ~10-15 minutes after the conclusion of the previous round):

Round 1: 9am
Round 2: ~10:45am
Round 3: ~12:15am
Round 4: ~1:30pm
Round 5: ~3pm
Awards: ~4:30pm

Awards:
Generous trophies for top finishers in all sections.
All kindergartners receive a trophy.
Team awards.
Also, all participants who stay to the end of award ceremony receive a medal (if they don't receive a trophy).

Large assortment of food concessions on site. Concessions will be cash only.

We will also have an on-site face painting booth.

Out of state players welcome.

We have limited parking, please carpool.

Outdoor playground on site.
