Registration Cutoff: 5:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026. After the cutoff you may register on the wait list (you will not be charged at this time).
Registration Fee: $25.00
Player Refund Cutoff: 4:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026. Refunds are subject to an $5.00 fee per player.

ICA Membership refund cutoff is 12:00 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026. Refunds are subject to an $5.00 fee per item.

**This event is a CLOSED Event, open to Idaho residents who are ICA Members Only **

Times: Check-in: 8:00-8:30 am

Round Times: 9:00 am continuous.

Format: 5SS G/45;d5 US Chess Rated

Girl’s & Women’s (may be combined if there are low there are turnouts)

Registration: $25 (Pre-Registration) , $40.00 (On site) Women and Girls only, ICA Members Only

USChess Membership Required. Over 65 years old, IMs, FMs, GMs free. (Apply Coupon: ICASCHOLAR)

Prizes:

1st place Overall (Girl's and Women's) and for 1st place each grade level.

Overall Girl's winner is named Idaho’s Representative to the Ruth Haring Girl's Tournament of Champions to be held during the U.S. Open.

Games: Chess sets provided, clocks provided. No Insufficient Losing Chances rule.

TD: Tilly Backstrom

Byes: Maximum 1-half point bye in any round, must commit before round 2 is paired.

Ties: Solkoff, Cumulative, Cumulative Opposition, Mod. Med.

For Girl’s Section, if more than 2 players have a perfect score, then a G/15;d3 or a G/5;d3 playoff will be used (names representative).
