Date: the event will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Registration Cutoff: 11:59 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025. After the cutoff you may register on the wait list (you will not be charged at this time).
Registration Fee: $50.00
Player Refund Cutoff: 12:00 AM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Refunds are subject to an $5.00 fee per player.

Tournament Flyer

Format:
5 Rounds. K-8 G/25;d5, NWSRS rated.
Qualifier for the 2025 WA State Elementary Chess Championship.

Sections:
K-1 U700
2-3 U700
4-6 U700
K-8 Open
U700 sections are ideal for players new to tournaments or casual players!

Qualification:
Players who score 3 points or more are qualified for the 2025 WSECC Championship Sections. (Kindergarten players do not need to qualify to compete in State.)

Schedule:
10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, concludes with awards. Round 1 pairings posted at 10:30 AM & round 1 begins at 11 AM. No check in required.

Awards:
Awards will be presented around 4:15 PM. All students who score 3 points or more earn a Trophy! Team trophies will be awarded. Medals awarded for all first-time tournament players.

Additional Info:
Concessions included for all students competing in the tournament. We encourage parents to drop of their child as we have staff on site who will supervise students between rounds!

Chess sets and notation sheets will be provided.

Refunds:
All refunds subject to a $5 fee per transaction. There will be no refunds after 4/7/2025.
