Registration Cutoff: 11:59 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
After the cutoff you may register on the wait list (you will not be charged at this time).
Registration Fee: $15.00
Player Refund Cutoff: 12:00 AM on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Refunds are subject to an $5.00 fee per player.

This is a qualifier for the State Team Chess Championship. Trophies and prizes for top middle school and high school players.
Who Can Play: Limited to 6th-12th grade students who attend school (or home school) in the following school districts: Renton, Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Tukwila, Highline, Tahoma, Enumclaw and Vashon Island. See map. Beginners welcome.
