Format: A 5-Round Swiss tournament in 3 sections:

ROUNDS
Rd. 1 - 12:00pm
Rd. 2 – 1:10pm
Rd. 3 - 2:20pm
Rd. 4 - 3:30pm
Rd. 5 - 4:40pm
Awards Ceremony ~6pm

TIME CONTROL
G/25; +5 sec. increment

AWARDS
Medals awarded to the top 5 scoring players in each section. Medals for first-time tournament players who complete 3 rounds.

RATING
All sections NWSRS and US Chess Rated. Higher of current NWSRS or February US Chess rating will be used to determine section and pairings. US Chess membership required for all sections.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all students in grades K-12 as of the 2024-25 school year from all counties and states.

PROCEDURE
Pairings and standings will be posted near the playing area before each round.


CONCESSIONS
No concessions available on site, but many stores (including coffee) available a very short walk away.

CLOCKS
Clocks not required until a judge places one set for G/10 minutes + 5 sec increment into unfinished games after 35 minutes of play. All equipment provided by organizers
