To help players feel confident and prepared, we ask that all participants watch this short video (about 20 minutes) explaining the rules and expectations of scholastic chess tournaments:

♟️ Format: 5-round Swiss System (everyone plays every round); G/30 (30 minutes per person per game)

📈 Rated: US Chess Rated | K-6 Section Only
Must have a current US Chess Membership (join or renew here)

💰 Entry Fee: $25 payable online
🤝 Need-based discounts available upon request

📝 Registration: Closes Friday, May 2 at 11:59 PM
🎁 Register by Thursday, May 1 to receive an extra drawing entry for prizes!

  • ⏳ Rounds follow continuously with a short lunch break after Round 3
